This out of round, crudely molded iron case shot, has an approximate average diameter measurement of .72 inches. It was recovered by Dennis Irvin in the area of Brandy Station, VA. The iron is in very good condition, has minimal pitting and a visible mold seam and sprue. It has been professionally cleaned and treated with electrolysis to stabilize the iron. This case shot will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War artillery or general relic collection. To read more about Dennis Irvin, click on the link with his name above.
