Condition: Very good, previously owned. Some staining found primarily on lower half of front cover. Minor edge wear on front and rear boards. Front endpapers are discolored. On the inside of the front board, in blue ink, is the previous owner's name and town.
Comments: This history of the Colt Revolver contains well over 100 illustrations. The book is divided into four parts. Part One gives the history in 18 chapters; Part Two gives an outline of antique and obsolete models; Part Three includes documents contemporaneous to the manufacture of the Colt; Part Four includes facsimiles of many of the patents. See the additional images for a random selection of a fraction of what this book contains. This massive book will be an excellent addition to any firearm reference library.
