Item: Artillery "Crossed Cannons" Hat Insignia
Construction: Stamped thin sheet brass with soldered on wire loops.
Condition: Very good, non-excavated, four wire attachment loops present. The device has an old dull brass patina with no cracks, breaks, bends, or repairs.
Approximate size: 1-3/4 x 3-1/4 inch.

Comments: Images of the above mentioned pages are found in the additional images of this item. These insignia adorned the artilleryman's hat and this example will be an excellent addition to any Civil War insignia, artillery, uniform, or general relic collection.
