This excavated cast brass bugle mouthpiece is in very good condition and has a very pleasing dusty rich green patina. It was acquired directly from the digger who recovered it in the area of Malvern Hill, VA. It measures 3 inches in length and is 1 inch in diameter at the mouth. The small end of the tube has a small crescent shaped break but otherwise it is in great shape.

This difficult to recover relic will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War musical, campsite, battlefield, or general relic collection.
