This piece of wood has a visible fired bullet solidly lodged inside as shown in the images. The wood is in solid condition and the deformed bullet has a grey patina. Both bullet and wood weigh approximately 2.87 ounces with overall dimensions of approximately 1-5/16 x 1-3/4 x 7 inches. The wood was lightly clear coated at some point. There are no repairs. Printed on the wood in black lettering on what appears to be "white-out" is "Gettysburg", likely indicating its recovery location.
