Miscellaneous Excavated Relics

These miscellaneous excavated relics were all recovered from Caroline County, VA. Clockwise, beginning at the top, the group consist of the following: gun primer container top, knapsack hook, knapsack triangle, roller buckle, musket sling adjustment hook, pocket watch outer frame and winder, sword swivel hook hanger portion, and a knapsack "J" hook. In the center is part of a powder or shot flask tube and below it is a percussion cap box finial. Please note that not all of the items pictured are Civil War military issue items but are typical of what can be found during a day of relic hunting.
