Item: Confederate Artillery Coat Button
Backmark: Blank
Description: Roman "A" on a plain field.
Construction: Low convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 22 mm.
Condition: Very good, excavated, secure shank present. Smooth front with a very pleasing even rich chocolate brown patina. There is minor splitting in a small section of the outer portion of the rim's edge that does not affect the button's structural integrity. The button is solid and tight with no pushes or repairs.

Comments: This Confederate artillery button will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
