Design: Lined Roman "A" on a plain field.
Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 23 mm.
Condition: Excellent, excavated, secure shank present. The button has a very pleasing dusty greenish-brown patina. No pushes, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Recovered: Charles City County, VA.
Reference: Tice: CSA203A5 Albert: CS 102A3
Comments: This artillery coat button was acquired directly from the digger and, if you are looking for an excavated example that is in outstanding condition with an awesome look, then this example is for you.
