Item: Confederate Cavalry Button - Lined "C"

Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 23 mm.
Condition: Very good, excavated, secure shank present. This button has a pleasing even dark olive green patina with a very slight push to the center front. It has no cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Recovered: Sailor's Creek, VA (aka Saylor's Creek)

Comments: This handsome Confederate cavalry coat button will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
