Item: Confederate Fifty Dollar Note - 1862
Date: December 2, 1862.
Engraver: Keatinge & Ball, Richmond, VA
Design: The front shows the portrait of Confederate States President Jefferson Davis. It is hand numbered and signed with a green overprint. The rear has an ornate design with the numerals "50" within medallions to either side.
Approximate size: 3-1/8 x 7-1/4 inches.
Condition: Fair. The note has several repairs on the rear. Small holes, discoloration and creases are present.
