Item: Confederate Fifty Dollar Note - 1861 - CC
Date: September 2, 1861.
Engraver: Keatinge & Ball, Richmond, VA
Design: The front shows the portrait of Jefferson Davis. It is hand numbered and signed. The rear is blank with hand-written letters and numbers found at the edge of one end.
Approximate size: 3 x 7 inches.
Condition: Very good, nice green coloring. The note is cut-canceled in the form of a cross. Borders are uneven and incomplete. The paper is crisp with creases.
