Item: Confederate Frame Belt Buckle - Small Cavalry Size
Construction: Cast brass.
Condition: Excellent, excavated. Its brass has a deep green patina with areas of thin woodsy-brown build-up. One edge has a divot which is the result of a casting bubble. It has no cracks, breaks, bends, or repairs.
Recovered: Unknown
Approximate size: 54 x 61 mm.
Comments: This Confederate frame belt buckle will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War plate or general relic collection.
