Condition: Previously owned, very clean with no smudging or stains. With the exception of the dust jacket which has edge tears and general wear, the book itself is in excellent shape. A blank page near the front is inscribed to its original owner and signed by the author.
Comments: The original owner's name has been blanked out in the image (only) of the inscription page so as to protect their identity however, the name will be visible on the inscription page to the purchaser. Also included is the 4-3/4 x 5-3/4-inch author introductory card which was originally included with the book. This out-of-print reference book is a treasure trove of information on Civil War Confederate accoutrement plates. It contains photographs with textual descriptions on every page, of the myriad of plates and buckles worn by the Confederates during the Civil War. It is a must have for the Civil War buckle and plate collector and will be an excellent addition to any Civil War relic reference library.
