Construction: Low convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 23 mm.
Condition: Fair, excavated, shank missing. The brass face of the button has a brown-green patina with no pushes, cracks, or repairs. Its tin rear has a small hole and rust build up resulting from ground action that wraps around a portion of its rim and onto its front.
Comments: The face of this button has that nice excavated appearance and will be an excellent display piece in any Civil War button or general relic collection.
Recovered: Richmond, VA vicinity.
