Item: Confederate Twenty Dollar Note - 1862
Date: December 2, 1862.
Engraver: Keatinge & Ball, Columbia S.C. (engraved only the master plates).
Design:
 The front shows the state capitol at Nashville, TN and Secretary of State Robert M. T. Hunter to the lower right. The rear has Roman numeral "XX" in the center with "20" in a medallion to either side. It is hand numbered in red and signed in black ink. 
Approximate size:
 3 x 7-3/8 inches.
Condition:
 Good. The note is cut-canceled in the form of a cross. Borders are complete with the exception of the left edge. The paper is semi-crisp with minor discoloration, pin holes and creases.
