Item: Excavatedeagle emblem.
Construction: Believed to be stamped thin sheet brass.
Condition: Fair, excavated. Though there is significant surface encrustation, the eagle's shield, right wing, and tail feathers are visible in the emblem.
Comments: This delicate relic will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War relic collection.
Recovered: Brandy Station, VA
Approximate diameter: 3/4 7/8 inch.
