Design: Lined oval field. An eagle on half-globe, eagle head to right, wings raised, wreath (twisted bar) at base, "EXCELSIOR" below.
Construction: Flat, one-piece.
Approximate size: 22 mm.
Condition: Very good, excavated, secure shank present, bent over to back. Dark brown patina. Both front and rear have partial silver wash remaining. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Recovered: Yorktown, VA area.
