Federal 12-Pounder Shell with Bormann Time Fuze

Item: Federal 12-Pounder Shell with Bormann Time Fuze
Gun: 12-pounder smoothbore, 4.62-inch caliber.
Approximate size: Weight: 9.6 pounds. Diameter: 4.42 inches. 
Condition: Very good, excavated, fired, deactivated. The surface of the shell has moderate pitting and both shell and fuze have been lightly clear coated. Its "double slotted" Bormann time-fuze is present and appears to have been punched at about the 4-1/2 second mark. Several hash-marks are visible as indicated in the additional close-up images. There are no repairs and is ready for display.  
Recovered: Unknown.
