Comments: What is so very special about the buttons recovered by this digger is the fact the he kept a written record of its recovery. He took the time to write information about the button on a label found on the bottom of its plastic display case. In most cases, the information includes his inventory number, button type, description, recovery date and location. The button's display case with affixed label will be included. If you appreciate that well documented relic with detailed written provenance in the digger's own hand, then this relic is for you. It will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War campsite or general relic collection.
