Item: Iron Heel Plate
Use: To reinforce wooden and leather soles.
Construction: Cast iron.
Approximate size: 2-3/4 x 2-5/8
Condition: Good, excavated. Moderate surface pitting and wear. The device has been clear coated so as to prevent further deterioration.  No bends, cracks, or repairs.
Recovered: Chancellorsville, VA.
