Construction: High convex, three-piece.
Approximate size: 15 mm.
Condition: Good, excavated, secure shank present. Ample gilt. There is a 4-5 mm hole in the rim, see images. There are no pushes, cracks, or repairs.
Recovered: January 14, 1995 Yorktown, VA area.

Comments: An image of the digger's collection display label, indicating when and where the button was recovered and also pictured with a Michigan state seal coat size example, is included in the additional images. This Michigan state seal cuff button will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
