Construction: Convex, three-piece.
Approximate size: 22.5 mm.
Condition: Good, excavated, secure shank present. The face has an ample amount of gilt with a moderate push to the shield. The back of the button is loose and will rotate, but is secure. The button has no cracks, breaks, repairs or other pushes.
Comments: This New York coat button will an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
Recovered: Cedar Creek, VA. in 1974
