Item: New York State Seal Cuff Button
Backmark: Blank with 2 concentric rings of depressed dots.
Construction: High convex, three-piece.
Approximate size: 15 mm.
Condition: Excellent, excavated, secure shank present. Solid button covered with gilt with no pushes, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Recovered: During the 1970's from the Petersburg, VA area.
Comments: This New York cuff button will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
