Officer Grade Combination Fork and Spoon Mess Utensil

This sturdy officer grade combination fork and spoon mess utensil, though missing its knife half, is in very good condition. Both knife and fork are tight and move easily into place. Its handsome rosewood handle is smooth and secure. The letters "TIT" or "TLT", which may be the initials of its owner, are crudely etched into the metal on the knife attachment side. These pocket folding utensils were made in such a way so that the knife side would detach so that the user could dine with the fork in one hand and the knife in the other. This non-excavated officer grade folding mess utensil will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War campsite or general relic collection.
