Backmark: " .*.*.*.*.*.*.*.* " rm
Construction: Low convex, one-piece.
Approximate size: 19 mm.
Condition: Excellent, excavated, secure shank present. Slick surface is worn with an olive-brown patina. There are no cracks, breaks, bends, or repairs.
Recovered: Augusta, GA area.

Comments: What I appreciate most about this button are the off-center rings on the rear. This fine artillery button will be an excellent addition to any excavated pre-Civil War button or general relic collection.
