Item: Regimental Number "0" - Small Size
Construction: Stamped thin sheet brass and wire loop.
Condition: Very good, excavated, attachment loop missing. The brass has a very pleasing even brown patina. The rear has remnants of solder and rust where iron loop was once attached. There are no cracks, breaks, bends, or repairs.
Recovered: Stafford County, VA area.
Approximate size: 5/8 x 11/16 inch.

Comments: These delicate regimental numbers are very difficult to excavate in this condition and this number "0" will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War insignia or general relic collection.
