Comments: This "rocker base" Sharps carbine bullet is a very rare find and examples are mostly recovered in Trans-Mississippi sites associated with Texas troops. These bullets get their name due to their slightly rounded base allowing the bullet to gently rock when placed on their base. This bullet will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War bullet or general relic collection.
