Item: South Carolina State Seal Button

Construction: Convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 19 mm.
Condition: Good, excavated, secure shank present. This solid button is has an even dusty green patina. There is a push to the center front but otherwise no cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Recovered: Fisher's Hill, VA
Comments: This button was acquired directly from the digger who marked the rear of the button with the letters "FH" representing its recovery location of Fisher's Hill. It will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
