Item: Spencer Carbine Cartridge
Caliber: .52
Condition: Good, excavated. The bullet portion is in good form and has a dirty white-brown patina. Its brass cartridge case, with its green-brown patina, has a moderate size dent with cracks likely as a result of the dent. The case is still solidly attached to the bullet but does need to be handled with care. The cartridge is not a "put-together" and has not been repaired.
Recovered: Unknown
Approximate size: .54 inch diameter; 1.69 inch length; 498 grains weight.

Comments: This Spencer cartridge will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War bullet, cartridge, or general relic collection.
