Item: Confederate 54 Gauge Bullet for Tranter Revolver
Condition: Very good, excavated, unfired. Smooth waxy brown patina (see Comments section below). Base rim slightly out of round. No repairs.
Recovered: Wilderness, VA area.
Approximate size: .451-inch diameter, .590-inch length, 181 grains weight.

Comments: Please know that due to the high-resolution images, the bullet's surface appears rough and/or chipped, this is not the case, the surface is actually very smooth to touch. It is a very nice example and will be an excellent addition to any Civil War bullet or general relic collection.
