This US cartridge box plate is in fair excavated relic condition. The brass face of the plate, showing the big fat letters "US", has aged into a dark olive-brown patina. Much of the rim is missing and that part of the rim just above the "U" is weak. The rear has much of its solder backing still intact and solidly in place. While this isn't a perfect example, if you are looking for that war torn look, then this one is for you. Approx. 55 x 84 mm. SOLD
