Construction: High convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 23 mm.
Condition: Excellent, excavated, secure shank present. This very solid button is covered with gilt. It has no pushes, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Recovered: Brandy Station, VA
Reference: Tice: GI215A8 (4-A) Albert: GI 85, GI 88
Comments: This button was acquired directly from the digger and will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War button or general relic collection.
