Item: US Issue Regulation Leather Rifle Shoulder Sling
Condition: Very good, non-excavated. Sling has a brass hook on one end and a sewn leather loop on the other. Its single sliding leather keeper is missing. The dark brown leather has a smooth outside surface and is pliable with a few minor tears along edge, but nothing major. No visible markings or repairs.
Approximate size: 1-3/16 x 47-1/2 inches.
Comments: The original sling offered here is an excellent opportunity to add a sling to a Model 1855, 1861, or 1863 musket and will be an excellent addition to your collection.
