US Musket Butt Plate

This excavated musket butt plate fits a US model 1855, 1861, and an 1863 musket. It is in very good condition and still retains both screws. This relic was acquired directly from the digger who recovered it from the area of Cedar Creek, VA. It will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War musket, campsite, or general relic collection.
