Backmark: "R & W. ROBINSON" dm on ribbon with an eagle between the swallowtail ends.
Construction: Low convex, two-piece.
Approximate size: 22 mm.
Condition: Excellent, non-excavated, secure shank. This button has a very pleasing lightly toned brass patina with no pushes, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Comment: It has the R & W. Robinson back mark that is typically found on excavated examples of these buttons. No period after the letter "I".
